Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an AI-Centric Full Stack Software Engineer in Boise to design, build, and operate AI-enabled applications and intelligent automation.

You will implement custom AI agents, integrate LLMs and tools, and develop MCP-based communications for structured context sharing across models and systems. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership, scalability, observability, security, and reliability in production-grade platforms powering manufacturing and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of production-grade full stack or backend software development, API design, service integration, and data persistence.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-enabled applications, including custom AI agents and RAG-based systems.
• Proven expertise in prompt engineering, Vibe Coding, AI tool integration, and reliability/safety in AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable full stack applications and platform services.
• Build and integrate custom AI agents to support automation, decision support, summarization, and multi-step reasoning.
• Integrate AI services, LLMs, embeddings, search, and external tools via secure APIs.
• Develop MCP-based integrations for structured communication between AI models, tools, and business systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions and ensure maintainability.
