Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a Software Development Intern to join the Mask Technology Center (MTC) software engineering team. You will help build AI-enabled solutions for semiconductor manufacturing and participate in the full software lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.

You will gain hands-on experience with modern languages (Python/JavaScript/C#), LLM platforms, data integration, and collaboration with engineers and stakeholders to deliver impactful projects that improve

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Cannot graduate prior to September 2027.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of software development concepts and version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement AI-enabled solutions.
• Work with LLM platforms, AI agents, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Participate in planning and code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and user guides. Test, troubleshoot, and improve software quality and reliability.
• Present project progress and final results to engineering and management teams.
• Follow Micron security, privacy, and software development best practices.
