Job summary

Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks a Software Development Intern in the Mask Technology Center. You will join a team to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled software supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations, working across requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and feedback.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or related field; cannot graduate before September 2027.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL; knowledge of REST APIs and web services.
• Understanding of software development concepts and version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement AI-enabled solutions.
• Work with LLM platforms, AI agents, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and enterprise systems.
• Participate in planning and code reviews.
• Create technical documentation and user guides; test, troubleshoot, and improve software quality.
• Present project progress and final results to engineering and management teams.
• Follow Micron security, privacy, and software development best practices.
