Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Software Engineering Product Manager to lead AI-enabled transformation in the Metacortex line within Digital Servicing. You will guide roadmaps, align leaders, and drive production outcomes by turning AI ideas into scalable capabilities while building strong, high-performing teams.

The role emphasizes deep technical credibility, architecture and APIs, and fostering a culture of innovation and ownership across the organization.

Qualifications

Education: Undergraduate studies in management information systems, engineering, math, computer science or comparable experience and education preferred.
Experience: Six years of application suite management with four years or more leading teams across multiple technologies.
Knowledge and skills: SDLC, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; roadmap development; decision-making and leadership.

Responsibilities

Set and communicate the product and technology vision for PIO, connecting the roadmap to priorities and measurable outcomes.
Lead cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, architecture, operations, and AI‑DLC teams.
Translate AI capabilities into practical solutions to improve post-issue servicing, speed and quality.
