Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead the Iris AI engineering team. You will manage senior engineers building the services behind Delinea's AI features, including LLM inference, retrieval, tool calling, and agents.

You will own part of the Iris AI roadmap, ensure high-quality AI-powered development, and mentor your team to deliver secure, scalable software. You will collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, and platform teams to align priorities and drive results, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
2+ years directly managing software engineering teams with hands-on engineering background.
7+ years designing, building, and shipping enterprise software to production.
Hands-on experience shipping products built on LLMs (inference, tool calling, or agents).
Fluency with AI-assisted development and a clear point of view on running a team that uses it well.

Responsibilities

Lead, grow, and retain a software engineering team within Iris AI, including hiring, coaching, performance reviews, and career development.
Translate roadmaps into operational plans; own delivery, scope, and priorities for your team.
Oversee code and design reviews to maintain a high bar for performance, security, and maintainability.
Own the team's operational health: infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring, on-call, and incident response.
