Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a software‑centric AI Agentic Systems Engineer Intern to design, build, and productize an internal AI platform.

You will develop multi‑agent workflows, implement prompt design patterns, and help deploy AI workloads on managed cloud infrastructure. This hands‑on internship targets MS/PhD students in CS/CE/EE with strong Python skills and familiarity with LLMs, cloud services (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable), and version control.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python; comfortable building and debugging non-trivial systems.
• Familiar with LLMs and agentic AI — prompt design, tool calling, and multi-agent/workflow frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Agent development: design, build, evaluate AI agents that automate research and analysis workflows.
• LLM workflows: implement agentic patterns with emphasis on reliability and output quality.
• Cloud deployment: deploy AI workloads on managed cloud infrastructure with IT collaboration on security and cost governance.
• Data & knowledge integration: integrate structured and unstructured data sources to support retrieval and reasoning.
• Tooling: develop reusable software tools and services that extend the platform.
• AI integration: document designs and evaluation criteria for reproducibility.
