Job summary

Blossom Health is hiring a software engineer in New York City (SoHo) to design and build scalable systems powering our AI-native mental health care platform. You will ship high-quality code, own uptime and observability, and apply cutting-edge AI to improve clinician and patient experiences.

You have 2+ years of experience, are fluent in TypeScript and/or Python, and are comfortable owning end-to-end production systems with minimal oversight. In-person work in NYC is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in high-quality environments.
• Experience building production systems end-to-end with minimal oversight.
• Fluent in TypeScript and/or Python (LLM-powered apps a plus).
• Comfort traversing the software stack and adopting new technologies.
• Enjoy autonomy, ambiguity, and ownership.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to be in-person in NYC (SoHo) 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, reliable systems powering core product workflows.
• Ship high-quality code balancing speed and rigor.
• Identify and resolve reliability risks, owning uptime and observability.
• Leverage AI to create intuitive clinician and patient experiences.
• Conduct thoughtful code reviews and mentor teammates to raise engineering standards.
