Job summary

Standard Template Labs seeks a mid-level Product Designer to lead the design of our next-generation AI-driven Service Management product. You will define how our self-service AI agent interacts with customers and prototype responsive experiences using AI coding tools.

You will collaborate across engineering and product teams, shape design systems, and iterate quickly in a fast-paced startup environment in New York.

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of product design experience working on professional tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating craft and use of AI coding tools.
• Passion for how products and design processes are changing in the AI era.
• Appreciation for giving and receiving design critique within a team.
• Mastery of atomic design principles and component-based UI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of our next-generation Service Management product.
• Use AI coding tools to explore, refine, and share work—and push your craft.
• Build prototypes you can test directly on customers.
• Define AI-driven experiences, including conversational flows and dynamic UIs.
• Collaborate with engineering & product to shape product direction.
• Help define and grow our design system.
• Iterate quickly in a high-velocity startup environment, embracing ambiguity and continuous learning.
