Job summary

EZCORP is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver AI-first software across its digital portfolio including web, mobile, and e-commerce platforms. The role focuses on architecture, prototyping, and production-ready code with AI-assisted development.

The candidate will lead multiple streams, coordinate engineers and contractors globally, and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions while aligning with product roadmaps and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years building production applications with React and/or Angular.
• 3+ years developing backend services using Node.js.
• 2+ years leading projects or technical workstreams — coordinating engineers, managing delivery, and owning outcomes.
• Experience using AI coding tools in production workflows and integrating AI/ML capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, owning technical direction, delivery timelines and outcomes.
• Break down complex initiatives into executable plans and drive them to completion.
• Coordinate and direct the work of engineers and contractors across distributed teams.
• Serve as the primary technical contact and communicate tradeoffs to leadership.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce quality standards for human-written and AI-generated code.
• Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development practices and architecture.
• Balance hands-on work with delegation to unblock teams.
• Design, build, and maintain full-stack apps with React/Angular and Node.js.
