Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Commercial Sales Engineer to join our Americas Field Sales team as an individual contributor. This remote role is located in the south, with occasional travel to customer sites and internal events.

You will create technical product presentations, gather customer requirements, lead product evaluations, and design test plans to guide customers to successful outcomes. Applicants should have strong cybersecurity and networking backgrounds and travel ability.

Qualifications

Proven cybersecurity and networking technical background with hands-on experience in TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPN, and firewalls.
2+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Network Systems integrator.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
Ability to travel to visit with customers.

Responsibilities

Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers
Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs
Lead product evaluations and custom product configurations
Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes
