Job summary

Lumin Digital’s Security Engineering team is seeking a Platform Engineer to apply reliability engineering to a cloud-hosted digital banking platform. You’ll build scalable security fabric, operate AI-assisted workflows, and harden deployments across AWS accounts and regions.

Expect collaboration with Risk, SRE, and Security Operations while driving automation and incident resilience in a fully remote, async-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications (AWS SA, DevOps, Security, Terraform, CKA/CKS, GCSA) are valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate security fabric for reliability and scale across hundreds of environments.
• Develop AI workflows to automate security platform engineering tasks (infrastructure code review, drift detection, runbook generation).
• Operate security telemetry, log analytics, and observability infrastructure (OpenSearch, ingest pipelines, alerting).
• Design GitOps deployment workflows (ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Kustomize) across many AWS accounts/regions with auditability.
• Write production-quality Python tooling to support platform operations and AI-assisted workflows.
• Secure and operate Kubernetes workloads in EKS with RBAC and network policies.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers, Risk teams, and SRE to align infrastructure decisions.
