Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to lead the development and implementation of security solutions across DoD infrastructure. You will assess threats, implement controls, and mentor teams while leveraging Elastic Stack for real-time anomaly detection.

You will troubleshoot complex challenges, monitor health, and apply AIOps to prevent outages, with a TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree as baseline requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Elastic machine learning implementations to model system, application, and network behavior to detect anomalies in real-time.
• Experience with AI-powered alerting and forecasting features to reduce alert fatigue by focusing on significant deviations.
• Experience with log categorization and pattern analysis using Elastic AI features.
• Ability to conduct root-cause automation and build AIOps workflows that correlate anomalies and alerts.
• Ability to monitor platform health with AIOps to predict resource needs and prevent outages.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• IASAE II Certification such as CASP+, CISSP, or CSSLP.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of security solutions for DoD infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and analyze complex security challenges across the Elastic Stack.
• Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls using Elastic solutions.
• Provide context to SOC/ops teams to accelerate incident response.
