Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, deploy, and troubleshoot secure, containerized systems across air‑gapped environments. You will develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, author Infrastructure‑as‑Code, and embed security and observability into the delivery stack.

You will mentor military personnel and government civilians, lead technical exchanges and labs, and help drive early AI adoption within classified constraints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT, systems, or software engineering.
• 3+ years DevOps or DevSecOps, including building and operating production CI/CD pipelines.
• 2+ years administering Kubernetes clusters in production, incl. lifecycle management and day‑2 operations.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation using Ansible and Terraform; Linux administration (RHEL/Ubuntu); scripting with Python and Bash.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services and cloud‑native architectures.
• Experience supporting regulated environments (DoD/IC), cybersecurity processes, air‑gapped constraints.
• Experience with basic AI prototyping, including LLM API use, RAG workflows, or AI tooling.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot containerized systems in air‑gapped environments.
• Develop and optimize production CI/CD pipelines.
• Author and refine Infrastructure‑as‑Code and embed security, observability, and reliability.
• Mentor and coach active‑duty military personnel and government civilians.
• Lead technical exchanges and labs to strengthen independent operation of critical systems.
