Job summary

Wiley is seeking a Technical Product Manager to shape and deliver the technology behind our AI-enabled SaaS products. You’ll translate customer insights, market research, and business goals into clear product strategy and guide features from concept through launch.

You’ll partner with engineering, design, security, data, and other teams to build scalable, secure, and maintainable experiences that drive adoption and measurable business impact across our Assessments SaaS portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably working with SaaS, platform, API, integration, or other technically complex products.
• Experience working in agile software development environments.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable plans.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts, including APIs, integrations, data flows, system dependencies, and technical architecture.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, identify dependencies and risks, and make decisions in a fast-changing environment.
• Proactive problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop product strategy for complex capabilities such as integrations, platforms services, and AI-enabled experiences informed by customer research, market trends, competitive analysis, and business objectives.
• Partner closely with engineering to evaluate technical options, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs and determine the right product approach.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, security, data, and other technical partners to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and maintainable.
• Use product data, customer feedback, and system insights to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Product Marketing, Customer Success, and other business teams to support launches, adoption, and ongoing product success.
