Job summary

Navan seeks a Senior Manager of Enterprise Risk Management to mature a scalable risk framework and oversee the enterprise risk function. You will partner across Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Treasury, and Security to balance risk with Navan’s fast-paced growth, reporting to the Head of Audit, Risk & Compliance.

You will evolve risk assessments, governance standards, and escalation protocols, driving risk-informed decision-making while advancing automation and data analytics to monitor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in risk management, operational risk, or internal audit.
• 5+ years leading enterprise risk management in fintech/tech or public-company environments.
• Knowledge of COSO/ISO frameworks and three-lines-of-defense model.
• Ability to design appropriate controls, automate where needed, and monitor effectively.
• Strong partner for cross-functional leadership and reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and mature enterprise risk assessments, risk appetite, taxonomy, governance standards, escalation protocols, and mitigation plans.
• Oversee risk-informed change governance for new products, markets, and major system changes.
• Assess risks across fraud, revenue, procurement, investments, privacy, compliance, and corporate development.
• Evolve centralized risk documentation and dashboards to monitor risk health.
• Advance risk management through automation and AI-enabled techniques.
• Promote a risk-aware culture and first-line ownership.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Treasury, Security, and other teams to scale Navan.
