Job summary

Mongoose is the leading AI Engagement Platform in higher education, trusted by colleges to boost enrollment, retention, and fundraising. As VP of Revenue you own the end-to-end revenue engine, including new business, client success, and account management.

You’ll design a simple, repeatable selling system, coach early-career reps, push higher-value deals, and run revenue like an AI-enabled company. Remote in the US with travel for large deals; OTE $290k-$365k with base $165k-$200k plus

Qualifications

• You have run a full revenue org with new business and retention and carried a number yourself.
• You understand funnel math: pipeline, conversion, time-in-stage, with a data-driven mindset.
• You can build or overhaul a selling system that scales across an org.
• You coach early-career reps hands-on to close deals.

Responsibilities

• Own all revenue: oversee new business, client success, and account management for ARR growth and gross retention.
• Build a simple, repeatable selling system with clear stages and playbooks for faster, more reliable forecasts.
• Grow the people who sell it by implementing ramp, enablement, and coaching cadences and by staying in the deals to coach in the moment.
• Move us up-market by focusing on higher-value, larger deals and disciplined prioritization of opportunities.
• Run revenue like an AI company by leveraging AI to automate routine work and inform smarter decisions.
