Job summary

Mongoose is seeking a visionary VP of Revenue to own the entire revenue engine—new business, client success, and account management—while integrating AI to drive efficiency and growth. You will shape a simple selling system, coach early-career reps into closer performers, and steer the team toward higher-value, larger deals in higher education.

Qualifications

• Has run a full revenue org including new business and retention
• Knows funnel math: pipeline, conversion, time-in-stage
• Built or overhauled a repeatable selling system
• Experienced coach for early-career reps
• Thinks in unit economics and market dynamics
• Uses AI to reinvent work without waiting for permission
• Higher ed or EdTech exposure is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Own all revenue across new business, client success, and account management
• Build a simple, repeatable selling system with clear stages and playbooks
• Grow and coach the sales team, from ramp to reviews and coaching in the moment
• Move the company up-market to pursue bigger, higher-value deals
• Run revenue like an AI-powered company to improve efficiency and outcomes
