Job summary

Meta seeks a Revenue Controllership Manager to own governance and the technical accounting foundation across revenue streams including ads, messaging, and subscriptions. You will guide framing of new products and pricing models, perform ASC 606 analyses, and coordinate with finance and product teams to ensure a robust SOX control environment.

AI-driven improvements and automation will enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
CPA certification and Big 4 background are preferred.
Proven experience with ASC 606 and revenue governance.
Experience designing internal controls over financial reporting, including SOX.
Ability to research and document technical accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

Own and improve governance framework and control environment for SOX revenue streams.
Research and document ASC 606 positions for new products and arrangements.
Maintain risk-rated inventory of revenue products and prioritize high-risk items.
Advise business partners on deal structuring with accounting implications.
Assess impact of system/process changes on revenue recognition and controls.
Monitor US GAAP developments and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Lead cross-functional initiatives across Finance, Product, Eng, Tax, Legal, and Ops.
Present technical accounting conclusions and control status to leadership.
Pilot AI/automation ideas to reduce manual effort in controls.
