Cognizant is seeking a Quality Engineer to advance our AI-driven testing capabilities. The role focuses on building robust automation using Java and Python, performing API and database testing, and owning feature quality from analysis to sign-off.

You will collaborate with product teams and developers within the Quality Engineering & Assurance organization to uphold high standards for mission-critical applications.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Java and Python.
• Perform API testing: validate endpoints using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Conduct database testing with SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
• Own quality for features: write test cases, execute suites, sign off.
• Track and report testing progress using JIRA/ADO/ALM; understand CI/CD concepts.
• Test AI/ML applications including chatbots for intent recognition and fairness.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate test script development and data creation.
• Ensure AI reliability and bias/fairness considerations in tests.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks in Java and Python.
• Proficiency with test/defect management tools like JIRA.
