Job summary

At MFS, a hybrid work environment is offered for a Test Automation Engineer with 5-7 years in software QA automation. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable UI test frameworks and suites for web applications using Java, Selenium, and Playwright.

API testing with Rest Assured, and CI/CD integration with Jenkins are essential. You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost efficiency and test coverage.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of Software Quality Assurance test automation experience.
• Hands-on automation development using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.
• Experience creating and maintaining UI automation test suites.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and Jira for test execution and sprint activities.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and IDE plugins to boost productivity.
• Ability to work independently and mentor junior automation engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications.
• Create and execute automated UI test scripts using Java, Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Develop and maintain API automation tests using Rest Assured.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and analysts to define test strategies.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution in Jenkins.
• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Mentor junior automation engineers through code reviews and coaching.
