Qualifications

THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Test Automation Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in software test automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated UI test frameworks and test suites for web applications. This role requires hands‑on expertise in using Selenium and / or Playwright using Java, a proactive problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to work independently while guiding other team members. The successful candidate will be passionate about quality, automation, and continuous improvement, leveraging modern AI‑assisted development tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automated test frameworks and test suites for web
• Create and execute automated UI test scripts using Java, Selenium and / or Playwright.
• Develop and maintain API automation tests using Rest Assured.
• Contribute to automation framework enhancements, coding standards, and best practices.

• Track and manage defects, test execution, and quality metrics using Jira.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, automation coverage, and overall quality engineering practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance test automation.
• Hands-on experience in automation development using: Java
