Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer in Gaithersburg, MD. This on-site, permanent role focuses on AI-driven test automation for cloud-native applications, with Java-based microservices, Playwright, and a SAFe environment.

You will design scalable automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD, and drive quality across mission-critical systems in a highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for complex applications.
• Experience with Playwright, JUnit, TestNG, and API testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in Java-based microservices and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and QA standards.
• Build scalable automated test solutions covering unit, integration, end-to-end, API, and regression testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to improve release quality and deployment efficiency.
• Develop and maintain reusable test scripts, test suites, and automated validation processes.
• Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, DevSecOps engineers, and stakeholders to improve software quality.
