Job summary

Jobot is seeking Senior/Lead/Principal Software Engineers to design, develop, and operate mission-critical Java applications in a regulated federal environment. You will contribute to cloud modernization, containerized architectures, and AI-assisted testing within SAFe practices.

Hybr id work in Gaithersburg, MD, with full-time opportunities across Senior, Lead, and Principal levels. You will collaborate with cloud architects, DevSecOps, and security teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Java development experience with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience building and supporting enterprise microservices architectures.
• Experience deploying containerized apps in AWS GovCloud or similar cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and automated security integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications and microservices.
• Build scalable cloud-native services and containerized apps on AWS GovCloud.
• Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and QA teams to ensure reliable releases.
