Job summary

Machinify, a leading healthcare intelligence company, seeks a Proposal Lead to own the full lifecycle for government and commercial bids, from intake to submission. You’ll build an AI-first content engine, manage cross-functional SMEs, and craft winning narratives that balance compliance with persuasive storytelling across complex RFPs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proposal writing experience, including government healthcare RFPs.
• Direct experience with payment integrity, claims audit, or healthcare cost containment.
• Experience contributing to commercial health plan RFPs in addition to government work.
• Familiarity with proposal management tools and content library platforms.
• Strong written communication — including translating technical content into persuasive narrative.

Responsibilities

• Own the full proposal lifecycle, across government and commercial.
• Lead RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and ITBs from intake through submission.
• Build an AI-first content engine using Claude and other AI tooling to support proposals.
• Orchestrate cross-functional SMEs to gather inputs and craft winning responses.
• Tell the story with a narrative that emphasizes buyer problems and solution fit.
• Manage review cycles, deadlines, pricing, and sign-off; maintain content library.
