Job summary

Avionte is seeking a Product Owner to drive AI-assisted development with a sharp backlog focus and clear customer context. You will validate AI outputs, define acceptance criteria, and partner with a Group Product Manager to align sprint work with strategy.

You will lead ceremonies, engage with customers and stakeholders, and collaborate with QA and engineering to ensure quality gates and timely releases.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, or a closely related software product role.
• Experience writing acceptance criteria and functional requirements that engineering and QA can act on without back-and-forth.
• Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum teams using tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar.
• Comfort with fast iteration cycles: able to validate, give feedback, and re-prioritize quickly.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active user of AI tools (Claude, Copilot, or similar).
• Experience in staffing, HCM, or enterprise SaaS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the intent behind features with clarity for AI-assisted development pipelines.
• Own and maintain the team backlog and prioritize work for a continuous delivery cycle.
• Validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
• Partner with the Group Product Manager to connect sprint work to strategy and outcomes.
• Lead sprint ceremonies: planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
• Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather input and close feedback loops quickly.
• Collaborate with QA and engineering to define quality gates and release sign-off.
• Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, draft requirements, and analyze feedback.
• Support internal enablement on new features and releases.
