Job summary

Global Healing, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Specialist to own formula tracking, ingredient management, and regulatory and label compliance for our dietary supplement line.

You will maintain documentation, support reformulation cost modeling, and ensure audit-ready records across the portfolio. You will collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, and Design to translate regulatory requirements into accurate label content, leverage AI tools for research and documentation, and help bring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Nutrition, or related field.
• At least 3 years in product development, R&D, quality, regulatory affairs, or documentation within dietary supplements/n nutraceuticals/food & beverage manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of FDA/FTC labeling and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet applications (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets).
• AI fluency for research, data organization, and content drafting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Deacom.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Excellent written communication translating technical data for non-technical audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; manage multiple concurrent projects across departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a master tracking system for every formula in active development, capturing status, key decisions, and stakeholders.
• Own handoff from R&D to Production and Operations, ensuring transfer of finalized formulas, specifications, and docs.
• Support NPD launch timeline by tracking formula status and flagging risks delaying concept-to-launch.
• Report stalled or at-risk formula projects to Product leadership before delays occur.
• Track ingredients used or under evaluation, including specs, suppliers, and status.
• Assess repercussions of reformulations on cost, sourcing, label impact, and formulation compatibility.
• Build cost models for proposed reformulations and input into sourcing decisions.
• Maintain current view of ingredient usage across the portfolio to identify conflicts or opportunities.
