Job summary

Global Healing is hiring a Product Development Specialist to own formula tracking, ingredient management, and regulatory compliance for its dietary supplement line. You will manage documentation, reformulation cost models, and ensure audit-ready records while leveraging AI tools to accelerate research and content development.

You will collaborate across R&D, Production, Quality, and Design to translate regulatory needs into accurate label content and maintain the product wiki for internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, chemistry, nutrition, or related field.
• Minimum three years in product development, R&D, quality, regulatory affairs, or documentation in dietary supplements or related manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of dietary supplement labeling and regulatory requirements (FDA/FTC).
• Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets with large data organization.
• Fluent with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for research and content drafting.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Deacom) for BOM and production data.
• Ability to build cost models and inform sourcing decisions.
• Excellent written communication for technical content to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a master tracking system for every formula in active development and stakeholders.
• Own handoff from R&D to Production and Operations with complete documentation.
• Support NPD launch timelines by tracking status and flagging risks.
• Report stalled or at-risk formula projects to Product leadership.
• Track ingredients, specs, suppliers, and reformulation implications.
• Build cost models and inform sourcing decisions.
• Maintain audit-ready BOMs and documentation.
• Ensure label and ingredient compliance and translate requirements to label content.
• Write and maintain internal product wiki for ingredients.
