Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Power BI/AI Visualization Developer to turn multi-source data into trusted dashboards across Sales, Finance, Operations and CX. You’ll own the enterprise Power BI layer, drive KPI definitions, and lead AI-powered analytics tooling on Snowflake, with a hybrid schedule in Dallas.

Responsibilities include building semantic models, writing efficient SQL against Snowflake, admin tasks, and mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of analytics or BI experience with hands-on BI development.
• Strong Power BI skills: data modeling, DAX, Power Query/M, and dashboards.
• Strong SQL skills against cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience migrating BI reporting between cloud warehouses (Azure to Snowflake).
• Ability to turn multi-source data into a single reliable reporting layer.
• Excellent communication to translate business questions into requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and semantic models for multiple stakeholders.
• Enable self-service analytics with embedded analytics and data-driven alerts.
• Migrate schemas and reports from Azure to Snowflake and validate parity.
• Meet with stakeholders to translate business questions into clear requirements.
• Define KPI definitions, data governance, and QA standards across teams.
• Write and optimize SQL against Snowflake; build clean data models.
• Productionalize AI-assisted reporting, including NLP or AI-driven summaries.
• Audit inputs and maintain documentation for data sources and models.
• Build internal tools (Python/Streamlit) to automate recurring reporting cycles.
• Own recurring reporting cadences and govern access and refresh schedules.
