Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI reports and dashboards across the Microsoft Power Platform. You will consolidate fragmented dashboards, translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, and partner with stakeholders to automate processes and improve accuracy and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience, including dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX, KPI reporting, and enterprise-level reporting solutions.
• Experience leveraging AI tools within reporting and analytics environments (6-12+ months preferred), ideally including Claude or similar AI-assisted development capabilities.
• Experience working with Snowflake as a data source, including querying, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Experience with Power BI MCP Extension and Visual Studio for report development, testing, and deployment.
• Strong focus on data quality, QA, and UAT, with a proven ability to validate reporting accuracy and identify discrepancies before production release.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate to automate business processes and reduce manual workflows.
• Ability to gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate them into scalable reporting and automation solutions. Experience with cloud-based data warehouses beyond Snowflake (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.).
• Experience building end-to-end Power Platform solutions, including creating a front-end Power App, writing data to a database table, automating workflows with Power Automate, and surfacing the data through Power BI reporting.
• Experience supporting finance, billing, invoicing, or revenue operations teams by automating spreadsheet-heavy processes and operational reporting.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and AI-assisted analytics/reporting solutions.
• Experience consolidating multiple reporting platforms or legacy dashboards into standardized enterprise reporting solutions.
