Job summary

UP.Labs is seeking an experienced Portfolio Ops Manager to enable AI adoption across a portfolio of companies. You will work directly with portfolio CEOs and UP.Labs leadership to identify opportunities, build AI-enabled tools and workflows, and enhance governance and reporting.

The role emphasizes hands-on AI work, external relationship-building, and practical execution to drive portfolio value. You will develop templates, dashboards, and playbooks to scale learnings, support CEO priorities,

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years in venture platform, startup operations, AI operations, BizOps, product ops, consulting, VC, or early-stage company-building
• Hands-on with practical AI-enabled tools and workflows, not just strategy
• Comfort with LLMs, AI tools, automation, no-code/low-code, data tools, and APIs
• Strong analytical ability to understand company performance, metrics, and portfolio health
• Externally credible with VC/founder/advisor network
• Able to represent UP.Labs and its portfolio in investor and industry settings
• Capable of building playbooks and templates that scale across a portfolio

Responsibilities

• Identify where AI can drive growth and operating leverage across portfolio companies
• Build AI-enabled tools, workflows, prompts, agents, and playbooks usable across companies
• Help embed AI into GTM, sales, research, marketing, recruiting, finance, product research, and ops
• Evaluate new AI tools and drive adoption with clear business cases
• Create templates and workflows to scale learnings across UP.Labs ecosystem
• Track adoption, refine approaches, and cut ineffective tools
