Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Transformation Consultant in Illinois to drive reform of underwriting and claims processes. You will lead cross-functional work within PODs, combining insurance expertise with analytics and AI-enabled solutions to improve client outcomes.

The role emphasizes end-to-end process reinvention, operating model design, and collaboration with engineering/data teams, with significant travel and a bachelor’s degree as a baseline requirement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management consulting and/or industry experience in Property & Casualty insurance, including Claims and Underwriting.
• 3+ years of process engineering, data/analysis, program management, and /or leading complex business / technology deliveries.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current-state underwriting, claims, and operating processes to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support end-to-end business process reinvention across Claims and Underwriting, redesigning workflows, governance, and performance management.
• Define future-state operating models blending human expertise, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support.
• Develop transformation roadmaps aligned to strategic business outcomes.
• Design end-to-end agentic AI workflows with human-in-the-loop controls.
• Collaborate with data/engineering teams to implement agentic workflows across functions.
• Travel up to 80% as required.
