Job summary

Firstbank seeks an experienced Business Services Operations Manager to lead operational support for business banking products, onboarding, and servicing. You will connect client-facing teams with Treasury Management, risk, and technology partners to improve client and associate experiences.

The role focuses on applying workflow automation, data, and approved AI capabilities to reduce manual work, improve quality, and build scalable operating practices with proper controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 10+ years in banking, financial services, business operations, or related areas.
• Experience leading complex operational processes or cross-functional initiatives.
• Knowledge of commercial/business banking products and services.
• Experience documenting, improving, and implementing business processes and procedures.
• Strong PM, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational support for business banking products, onboarding, and servicing.
• Serve as a central resource for client-facing teams including Treasury Management and risk/compliance partners.
• Resolve or escalate complex operational and client service issues and identify root causes.
• Establish consistent service expectations, ownership, handoffs, and escalation practices across markets.
