Job summary

Movement Mortgage is seeking an entry-level Operations Analyst to help define and optimize mortgage workflows through AI and automation. You will partner with Mortgage Operations leaders to map processes, identify bottlenecks, and translate challenges into concrete requirements for automated solutions.

In this role, you will support design, testing, and scaling of AI-enabled processes, build dashboards, and monitor impact across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or in related field.
• 0–2 years in business operations, business analysis, process improvement, data analytics, financial services, technology, or related area.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, or using technology to improve business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and identify inefficiencies.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with operational data and business metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn mortgage operations and emerging AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Mortgage Operations leaders to understand processes supporting the mortgage loan lifecycle.
• Analyze workflows to identify manual, repetitive, or time-intensive activities for AI/automation.
• Identify bottlenecks and handoff challenges to improve efficiency across operational teams.
• Document current-state processes and design improved future-state workflows with AI/automation.
• Translate challenges into structured requirements and solutions with multiple teams.
• Assist with design, testing, implementation, and scaling of AI/automation solutions across Mortgage Operations.
• Develop reporting, dashboards, or tracking tools to provide visibility into performance and improvements.
• Gather feedback and monitor solutions to identify enhancements and further automation opportunities.
• Help measure impact of solutions including efficiency, turnaround time, capacity, and manual effort reductions.
• Manage multiple AI/automation initiatives while coordinating across business and technical stakeholders.
