Gallatin seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate a containerized data platform that connects external sources, cleans data, and powers Navigator and AI agents. You will build lakehouse pipelines, model entities, and lineage while delivering SME-facing tools.

You will work across Kubernetes, cloud and air-gapped environments, with Python/SQL, and front-end components to empower analysts and mission partners.

Formación

• 8+ years of professional data engineering experience with production pipelines
• Experience with an open table format (Iceberg preferred) and a distributed query engine
• Proficiency in Python and SQL across heterogeneous sources
• Strong data modeling for analytical and operational workloads
• Production orchestration experience (Airflow, Dagster, Argo)

Responsabilidades

• Build the Data Platform: containerized services, open lakehouse, and DDIL-ready pipelines
• Turn raw data into curated semantic entities and lineage
• Develop fullstack tooling (TypeScript/Vue) for SME access and low-code workflows
• Collaborate with Product/AI/Frontend teams and contribute to RFCs and CI/CD
