Job summary

Gallatin AI, Inc. is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and scale the core systems powering its AI-driven logistics platform. You’ll own reliable, high-performance backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that drive product decisions.

Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration and robust, observable systems. Build scalable data processing and testing strategies while advancing the platform’s reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Backend engineer with strong system design and API skills.
• Proficient in Python, Node.js, TS, or Java and REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale core backend services and APIs for AI-driven logistics platform.
• Own system architecture balancing performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend, AI/ML, and product teams to integrate services.
• Ensure high availability via monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Develop comprehensive testing strategies across unit, integration, and performance.
