You will work with the AI Platform Engineering team to build agentic workflows, scalable architecture, and secure software solutions for attorneys and business professionals.

The role emphasizes leading architectural decisions, integrating LLM capabilities, and delivering high-quality, observable systems across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience building web applications, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance software for enterprise scale.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and set standards.

Responsibilities

• Build user-facing applications, APIs, and services for attorneys and staff.
• Integrate generated insights into legal, business, and knowledge workflows.
• Develop software that consumes Gibson Dunn’s LLMs, models, and agent frameworks.
• Define long-term technical strategy and lead architecture for enterprise apps.
• Create agentic workflows that plan, call tools, and execute multi-step tasks.
• Ensure security, governance, and compliance in all engineering work.
