Job summary

Jerry.ai is building an AI-powered legal operations function to run across the US and Canada. You will own core legal processes from start to finish, building scalable workflows with AI and low-code tools.

The role blends law, technology, and process improvement in a startup environment. You’ll report to the Legal Counsel and shape how the team operates, ensuring filings, audits, and brand protection stay compliant across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an academically rigorous program.
• Track record of owning projects start to finish.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI and technology to improve how work gets done.

Responsibilities

• Own automation initiatives using AI and low-code tools.
• Lead legal research, contract reviews, and compliance projects.
• Manage entity compliance across US and Canada, including annual reports.
• Monitor and protect Jerry's intellectual property; initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Investigate escalations to root cause and turn into training for teams.
• Review products and processes for compliance risk with Eng and Product.
• Lead compliance audits across operations and high-risk areas.
