Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking a proactive Legal Operations lead to own end-to-end compliance, regulatory projects, and automation initiatives. You will drive AI-enabled processes, partner with the Legal Counsel, and scale operations across the US and Canada.

The role emphasizes ownership, innovation, and building scalable systems in a startup environment while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with track record of owning projects start to finish.
• Interest in using AI and technology to improve work processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver legal operations projects from start to finish.
• Automate repetitive tasks using AI and low-code workflows.
• Conduct legal research and contract reviews for new questions.
• Maintain entity compliance across US and Canada with annual reports and regulatory filings.
• Monitor and protect brand IP and initiate cease-and-desist workflows.
• Investigate consumer escalations and translate into compliance training.
• Review products and processes for compliance risk and work with Eng/Prod to fix issues.
• Lead audits across operations focusing on high-risk areas.
