Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Reston, VA seeks a Learning Design Specialist to analyze, design, develop and implement enterprise learning solutions for our global organization. This part-time telework position requires at least three days in-person per week, with weekly schedules set in coordination with leadership.

The role collaborates with Talent Management, delivering engaging training using Articulate Storyline and Rise while aligning with corporate standards and timelines.

Qualifications

• Design and develop instructor-led and online learning solutions.
• Collaborate with senior managers and executive stakeholders.
• Apply instructional design methodologies and create scripts/storyboards.
• Utilize Articulate Storyline and Rise for course development.
• Work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design learning solutions and programs to meet standards.
• Create multifaceted curriculum including ILT, OL, e-learning, team activities and evaluations.
• Integrate emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, into courses.
• Consult with SMEs to understand training needs and select content.
• Build trust with internal customers by delivering on promises.
• Lead train-the-trainer sessions for new courses or updates.
• Maintain project documentation and compliance with standards.
• Research industry best practices to provide innovative solutions.
• Ensure quality assurance of course materials.
