Current invites motivated students to join as Audit & Assurance Intern for Spring/Summer 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience in financial auditing, risk assessment, and client service while developing foundational skills for a career in assurance and public accounting.

You’ll work with experienced professionals, contribute to audit engagements, and participate in training and development, with emphasis on curiosity, collaboration, and learning new technologies in the accounting field.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Interest in a career in audit, assurance, or public accounting.
• Strong academic performance.
• Intention to pursue CPA licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with substantive audit procedures and testing.
• Prepare and document audit workpapers.
• Review and analyze financial information for trends or inconsistencies.
• Participate in walkthroughs of financial and operational processes.
• Learn about internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting.
• Work with associates, managers, and other professionals on client engagements.
• Ask questions, receive feedback, and develop technical and professional skills.
• Participate in training, networking, and professional development opportunities.
• Build experience with technology, automation, AI, and data analytics in accounting.
