Perplexity AI is seeking an IP Paralegal to serve as the operational backbone of a fast-growing IP program. You will manage patent and trademark prosecution, portfolio hygiene, and IP-adjacent support across copyrights and open source compliance.

You will work with outside counsel, engineering teams, and cross-functional partners to maintain deadlines, track budgets, and drive process improvements using agentic AI tools. This hands-on role rewards initiative and scalable systems development.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of IP paralegal experience in-house and/or at a law firm.
• Demonstrated fluency with AI tools and curiosity about applying AI to IP programs.
• Hands-on support for patent/trademark prosecution and portfolio maintenance.

• Manage end-to-end workflows across patent and trademark portfolios, including docketing and deadlines.
• Support copyright, trade secret, and open source compliance practices.
• Administer registrations, filings, and portfolio record keeping.
