Job summary

Savvy Wealth in New York City is seeking an Investment Operations Associate to support the centralized investment platform. You will own workflows across order management systems, custodian accounts (Schwab, Fidelity), and SMA onboarding, ensuring accurate setup, onboarding, reviews, and timely processing with AI-powered tools.

Collaborate with Trading, Client Service, Billing, Compliance, and Operations; build automation, maintain controls, and scale processes while adhering to FINRA and SEC

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in investment operations, brokerage operations, or related wealth management.
• Experience supporting traders, portfolio managers, or a centralized investment platform.
• Strong understanding of trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and operational controls.
• Experience with custodians such as Charles Schwab or Fidelity, including account setup and approvals.
• Proven ability to manage recurring, detail-oriented workflows independently.
• Enthusiasm for using AI and automation to improve operational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reviews of account restrictions, trading permissions, and custodian data feeds to ensure timely trade execution.
• Own trade‑error processing, including investigation, coordination with custodians, and remediation tracking.
• Enable options trading and margin within custodian accounts for SWIM strategies, coordinating approvals.
• Coordinate SMA onboarding and custodial setup for SMAs and specialized strategies.
• Oversee end‑to‑end operational implementation of alternative investments, including subscriptions and redemptions.
• Conduct scheduled audits of billing, trade execution, and account configuration; document findings.
• Build and maintain a centralized system of record for approvals, setup, controls, and resolution status.
• Operate internal automation tools and enhance them as processes scale.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Operations leadership to ensure FINRA/SEC policy adherence.
