Job summary

Alternative Payments is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to tackle real business problems by building end-to-end systems that automate workflows, dashboards, and internal tools. You will partner with Operations, Data, and Product Engineering to prototype and scale solutions that move money and insights across the company.

This is an internal-facing role embedded with Ops, Product, Customer Success and Sales, requiring hands-on delivery from architecture to production.

Qualifications

• Deep architectural knowledge to assess system design and tradeoffs.
• Platform and infrastructure fluency across cloud and data pipelines.
• Strong full-stack capability to ship production-ready code end-to-end.
• AI-native approach to planning, building, and shipping software.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end initiatives from prototype to production systems.
• Build internal dashboards and tooling to enable operations, product, and sales.
• Design and evolve scalable systems with emphasis on reliability and performance.
• Review architecture and infrastructure decisions with the BizOps/Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering on early-stage ideas and POCs.
• Ensure safe AI-assisted development and manage technical debt.
