Job summary

Brivo is seeking an Instructional Designer in Austin to create and maintain training content for customers and employees. You will assist in assessing training needs and develop learning content to support business growth.

You will lead the ADDIE course creation lifecycle, collaborating with SMEs to ensure accuracy and relevance, and deliver engaging multi-modal training including e-learning, videos, and microlearning. Brivo emphasizes growth and industry leadership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Articulate Rise and Storyline required.
• Knowledge of Camtasia or similar tool for video creation and editing required.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills, time management, communication, and attention to detail required.
• Proven experience in creating engaging and practical learning using industry-standard methodologies required.
• Ability to translate complex concepts and data into visually appealing, easily digestible content required.
• Proven experience in delivering multi-modal trainings, detailed course design documents, implementation strategies, and program evaluations required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the ADDIE course creation lifecycle for elearning content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to determine needs and ensure content is accurate and relevant.
• Create detailed storyboards and engage learners with scripts and scenarios.
• Develop e-learning, instructional videos, and microlearning using various authoring tools.
• Create knowledge checks to measure learner application of concepts.
• Review and update content using learner feedback and product launch details.
• Launch and manage content in the LMS.
• Support regular updates and maintenance of existing courses.
• Research trends and adapt to new features and tools to keep programs modern.
• Work independently with strong communication to meet quarterly objectives and deadlines.
