Job summary

Brivo is seeking an Instructional Designer in Bethesda to create and maintain training content for customers and employees. You will assess training needs, develop learning materials, and ensure content aligns with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience utilizing ADDIE required.
• Experience using Articulate Rise and Storyline required.
• Experience with Camtasia or similar tool for video creation and editing required.
• Experience with LMS (LearnUpon) required.
• Outstanding writing and editing skills, time management, communication, and attention to detail required.
• Proven experience in creating engaging and practical learning using industry-standard methodologies required.
• Ability to translate complex concepts and data into visually appealing content required.
• Proven experience in delivering multi-modal trainings, detailed course design documents, implementation strategies, and program evaluations required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the ADDIE course creation lifecycle for e-learning content.
• Collaborate with SMEs to determine needs and create content.
• Design engaging learning content (e-learning, videos, microlearning) using authoring tools.
• Create objective-aligned knowledge checks to measure learner application.
• Launch and manage content in our learning management system (LMS).
• Provide regular updates and maintenance of existing courses.
• Utilize AI to write clear content, stories, and use cases for immersive learning.
• Proactively research trends and adapt to new features and tools.
• Work independently and with strong communication to meet quarterly objectives.
