Job summary

FUNDA is hiring an Institutional Sales professional to own client development across the US buy-side, including hedge funds, long-only, and multi-manager pods. You will engage CIOs/PMs and analysts, run discovery, demos, trials, and close deals while navigating MNPI and procurement workflows.

You will partner with research and product teams to align on client priorities and the product roadmap, with a preference for candidates based in NYC, Boston, or SF.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years selling to US buy-side institutions
• PM/CIO relationships at multi-manager pods (Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Schonfeld, ExodusPoint)
• Background in independent or sell-side research and access networks (GLG, Tegus, AlphaSights)
• Experience with alternative data sources
• Fluent in buy-side compliance and MNPI walls
• Native or near-native English
• Belief that AI will transform professional investing

Responsibilities

• Own institutional client development in your region: hedge funds, long-only, multi-manager pods, corporate strategy
• Engage CIOs, PMs, and sector analysts directly; convert inbound leads and generate outbound from your network
• Run the full sales cycle: discovery, demo, trial, commercial, close
• Navigate buy-side and corporate procurement & compliance workflows (DDQ, MNPI, MSA / order-form)
• Partner with research and product teams on client priorities and product roadmap
