Job summary

Oak is hiring a Solutions Engineer to act as the technical backbone of our sales motion, partnering with Account Executives to demonstrate Oak's value to CISOs, IAM engineers, and compliance leaders. You will own the technical narrative from discovery to POV, showing how Oak's identity graph and data lake unify on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.

You will run live demos, design POVs, and answer tough security questionnaires, working with Solutions leadership to align the technical story

Qualifications

7+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Sales Engineer in cybersecurity/identity
Working knowledge of IAM/IGA concepts (e.g., JML, access reviews, RBAC/ABAC, SoD, SCIM, SAML/OAuth)
Comfort delivering live demos and POVs to technical and executive audiences
Ability to translate technical concepts into business risk and ROI for CISOs
Strong ownership mentality and autonomy in a fast-moving startup

Responsibilities

Run technical discovery calls to map a prospect's identity stack
Deliver tailored product demos showing how Oak unifies access reviews, JIT, and lifecycle management
Design and execute Proofs of Value (POVs) with prospects
Own technical responses to RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires
Partner with Account Executives to shape technical strategy for each opportunity
Provide feedback to Product/Engineering to sharpen Oak's roadmap
