Job summary

Stitch Fix is seeking an HRIS Solutions Architect on the Business Systems Engineering team to design, build, and operate enterprise‑grade HR systems. You will own the People Technology ecosystem and lead integrations using Workday Extend/Studio while championing AI-enabled workflows.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and data-driven HR solutions, balancing flexibility with performance and ensuring SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in solution evaluation, design and implementation of People Technology, specifically Workday.
• Deep technical mastery of Workday modules (HCM, Advanced Comp, Benefits, Talent).
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, Prism, and complex integrations within HR ecosystem.
• Knowledge of modern engineering practices (Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability with Datadog).
• Security mindset with OAuth 2.0 and API security models; ability to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, AI-ready HR architectures that automate end-to-end HR processes.
• Champion exploration and implementation of AI agents to revolutionize workflows.
• Build integrations using Workday Extend and develop complex integrations with Workday Studio via Java, Python, etc.
• Define system boundaries, data flows, and integration standards; mentor engineers.
• Design event-driven integrations and RESTful/SOAP APIs across HRIS systems.
• Establish reusable code libraries and architectural standards; implement monitoring and alerting.
• Develop data pipelines and API layers for Enterprise Analytics; treat data as a strategic asset.
• Ensure security and SOX compliance across all integrations.
