Job summary

Prairie Field Services seeks a Human Resources Operations Manager to lead HR infrastructure with a strong emphasis on automation, precision, and talent strategy. The role modernizes core HR systems—attendance, payroll, and Driver Qualification files—driving speed, accuracy, and auditability through AI tools.

You will direct the Talent Acquisition/Marketing Specialist and steer companywide recruiting and retention for drivers and staff, while overseeing benefits, 401(k) vendor relationships, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years HR experience in safety/compliance-driven industries preferred.
• Experience leveraging AI, HRIS, payroll or automation to modernize HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and automation initiatives across HR functions to improve speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Automate attendance tracking and policy enforcement.
• Automate payroll processes with finance to ensure accurate, timely pay.
• Manage Driver Qualification (DQ) files for FMCSA/DOT compliance.
• Direct the Talent Acquisition/Marketing Specialist and oversee recruiting efforts.
• Lead companywide recruiting and retention for drivers and staff.
• Oversee social media and marketing initiatives; manage events and branding.
• Maintain relationships with benefits and 401(k) providers; manage vendor accountability.
• Ensure audit-ready HR recordkeeping and report to COO.
