The ideal candidate has 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, a 4-year degree in accounting or finance, and demonstrated ability to implement AI-driven reporting and automation across finance systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years’ managerial or supervisory experience.
• 5+ years’ progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in Healthcare accounting preferred.
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the accounting team and partners with CFO on close and reporting.
• Implements and trains staff on policies compliant with GAAP and regulations.
• Leads monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with reconciliations.
• Identifies opportunities to apply AI and automation to accounting workflows.
• Builds AI-supported dashboards translating GL, budget, and operational data for leadership.
• Monitors ERP, budgeting, and payroll systems to drive standardization.
• Supports staffing activities including interviewing and performance reviews.
• Collaborates with FP&A, HR/benefits, and operations on shared initiatives.
• Assists with budget processes and communicates drivers to finance leadership.
• Supports MSO/MSA structuring and related compliance; oversees accounts payable.
